In a major crackdown, the Mumbai Police have arrested fake Levi's jeans makers and seized more than 20 lakh worth of counterfeit products. The police received a tip-off that the counterfeiters were selling their products online via Facebook & Instagram. After an investigation, the police were able to confirm the report with support of Levi’s Official Representative and take action against the offenders. This is a great example of how law enforcement can work together with companies to protect consumers from being duped by fake products.
